Blinkit Unavailable In Your Most Of Area Know Here Why The Grocery App Is Not Working

Blinkit Workers Strike : Blinkit is the grocery unit of Zomato. With this app, people can easily get grocery items delivered at their doorstep. But, is your Blinkit app also not working? Trying to order groceries but the app won’t open? If this is happening then you might be living in Delhi NCR. This is happening because Blinkit’s delivery partners are on strike demanding restoration of the previous payment system. Due to this strike, about 50 stores of Zomato’s Blinkit grocery unit have been closed in different parts of Delhi-NCR.

Why are delivery partners on strike?

Reports have revealed that hundreds of delivery partners working with Blinkit, owned by Zomato, are on strike for the last three days to protest against changes in the company’s payout structure. The reason behind the strike is the recent changes in Blinkit’s payment structure, where delivery partners are now getting a minimum fee of Rs 15 per delivery instead of Rs 25 per delivery.

What do delivery partners want?

About fifty workers working in various places said that the new payment structure would reduce their daily income by 40-50 percent. The employees want the new pay structure to be canceled immediately, and request that any change in the pay structure be taken in consultation with the employees. The shutdown of the app is affecting the regular customers of the app as they are unable to place orders on the Blinkit app since last few days.

Many users have also raised this issue on Twitter and asked the company about the closed services. Responding to a user’s query on Twitter, Blinkit said, “We understand this is causing you problems. Our teams are working to fix this as soon as possible, and we look forward to serving you again.” be back soon,”
